As a small business owner on Lake street, service worker, and resident of Portland Ave, Ive felt the effects of Metro surge in every avenue of life. Many of us are carrying fear, grief, uncertainty, and exhaustion as our community navigates profound trauma. These are not easy times, and no one should have to hold it all alone.
Right now, self-care is not a luxury, it’s essential. Tending to our nervous systems helps us stay grounded, connected, and resilient in the face of ongoing stress. When we care for ourselves, we strengthen our capacity to care for one another. Thank you for being part of this community. Your presence, support, and care matter more than ever.
